Season Breakup and Presentation afternoon

The Seymour Sharks having their breakup BBQ and presentation afternoon at the Avenel Maze on Saturday 2nd May 2009, timings 12:00 - 4:00 pm

AGM
The AGM for this season is sheduled for Monday 4th May 2009 commencing at 7:30pm.

This year the venue is at the Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre (Indoor Pool).

All committee positions are declared vacant and any applicants should nominate to the President at least one week prior.


Please remember without an Executive committee we cannot function as an affiliated club with Swimming Victoria.

Another season at an end

Yet another year of swimming has come to a close, with The Sharks coming 2nd overall in the district.


Seymour Sharks District and Amateur Swimming Club is affiliated with Swimming Victoria and is a member of District 22. District 22 comprises of 5 clubs (Seymour, Kilmore, Yea Water Tigers, Mansfield and Alexandra).

We hope to see as many of you as possible in the new season of 2009 - 2010.

A long-term plan is better than a short-term plan. It is human nature to want success as soon as possible. It is possible to gain short-term success in swimming with a sharp and aggressive training program. This approach is often evident in age group teams where some youngsters are pushed hard and come up with good results in the 10-15 year age bracket.
